From the Grassroots to the Airwaves - Watch Our TV Ad!
Dear Friend,
We’ve built the strongest and broadest coalition of education, public safety and labor support of any candidate for Attorney General because California agrees: education is key to our future and safety.
And now, because of the direct support from you and the thousands of others throughout California, we are taking our campaign from the grassroots and into the airwaves!
Today, our first campaign commercial will debut throughout California. Our message is clear and purpose is just: a safer California starts in great schools, not failed prisons.
Help keep our message of public safety through education on the airwaves by contributing $25, $50, $100 or whatever you can today!
Organizations like the 700,000-member SEIU State Council, 300,000-member California State Building & Construction Trades Council, 120,000-member California Federation of Teachers (CFT), 60,000-member Peace Officers Research Association of California (PORAC), 40,000-member Operating Engineers Local 3, 30,000-member California Professional Firefighters (CPF), 25,000-member AFSCME District Council Local 57, 23,000-member California Faculty Association (CFA), the 1,400 member-California Police Chiefs Association (CPCA) and the 1,100-member California Fire Chiefs Association (CFCA) have endorsed my campaign because they agree that promoting education to strengthen our communities, reforming our prisons and growing our economy should be the top priority of the next California Attorney General.
We can, and we will, fix California by focusing on education as the key to a stronger future. I hope you will join with educators, firefighters, public safety organizations, labor unions and dedicated Californians from every corner of our state who agree – education is a civil right.
Thank you for all your support.
Sincerely,
Alberto Torrico
P.S. – A contribution of $50 can put our new spot on CNN. A contribution of $70 helps us reach the ESPN audience. And $250 can help sponsor a placement on your local news. Please help spread the word with the most generous donation you can afford today.
