With devastating budget cuts and dramatic tuition fee increases, California's higher education is in serious crisis. Too many students have to drop out of school, increase loan payments, or take fewer classes.

California needs a solution sooner, rather than later.

What's the fix? AB 656! Taxing big oil 12.5% will generate $1.3 billion annually for higher education in California - 25% for UC, 50% for CSU, and 25% for community colleges.

We need to gather 100,000 signatures and we need your help.

Become a campus captain and pledge your support for Fair Share for Fair Tuition. Follow these easy steps:

1. Download and Print the petition PDF in the right side bar.

2. Collect as many signatures as you can.

• Run up and down your dorm hall, urging residents to sign
• Pass petitions around in class
• Ask professors and instructors for their support
• Approach students in the dining hall
• Visit campus clubs, organizations to rally support
• Delegate: Give petitions to friends. Urge them to collect signatures and to return the forms to you.
